"Alright! Are we all ready to go?" I shouted while on deck to the young and slender male Caninu pilot who was in the cockpit of the ship we were on. We were at the docks of Airedale and I was assigned a quest by Shira Narake' to deliver a package to the famous hunter, Red Savarin. Shira told me that Red is somewhere in Pharaoh. She also told me to watch out for sky pirates and strictly forbade me to open the package, which makes me wonder what's inside the package, but I promised I wouldn't open the package.
"Yep! All ready!" the pilot replied back as he increased the throttle and we headed on our way to the capital city of Pharaoh. It was a beautiful day. The skies were blue. The sun was delivering its warm sunlight onto the citizens of The Shepherd Republic. The wind was a cool, comfortable temperature. Airships were flying to and from various islands. These were the kind of days that people always wished for, and the best part was that those giants weren't around anymore to terrorize us. I was leaning on one of the side rails of the ship, gazing in bliss at the beautiful scenery. Suddenly, I heard a loud explosion and I was rocked violently, but not violently enough to be knocked over the rails and into The Cloud Sea. I turned around to see what caused the explosion, and there on the other side of the ship, flying parallel to our ship, was a large pink airship with a peach symbol in the center of the hull.
"Th...The Pink Peaches!" I exclaimed as the pilot of our ship was viewing the scene from the cockpit and a feminine voice came over a loudspeaker on the pink ship.
"Sam Arceneau, I heard you're delivering an important package to the famous Red Savarin. I have a bone to pick with him for rejecting me back at Pharaoh, and that package is exactly what I need to approach him, so hand over that package and I won't blast that ship down!" the female demanded over the loudspeaker. Suddenly, a figure on a robot appeared at the top of the ship and jumped down onto the deck of the pilot's ship and the pilot took cover under the control panel while still flying the ship. The female smirked at me. "You probably know me. I am Palmier: former leader of The Pink Peaches."
"Oh, that's right. I heard you disbanded the group so you and the girls with you could find love, but why do you still have the ship?" I replied.
"Well, we did disband to find love, but that doesn't mean I couldn't keep the ship." Palmier smirked again. "Anyway, hand over the package now!" Palmier snapped.
"Now hold on a sec, Palmier. I think we can work out a compromise." I said as she replied with a disdainful look on her face. "You're looking for love, right?"
"Yes...?" Palmier said, raising an eyebrow wondering what I was getting to.
"Well, how about I treat you to a fancy night in Pharaoh tonight instead of taking this package and going to Red? I'll be honest with you here, Palmier: I think you're a very lovely lady." I said slightly blushing. Palmier raised her eyebrows in surprise as she blushed as well.
"You...wanna take me out...on a date?" Palmier asked sounding almost excited.
"Of course!" I replied with a smile as Palmier's eyes widened and she jumped out of her robot, ran towards me and wrapped her arms around me rubbed her cheek on mine.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting for love, and to be honest, I think you're a lovely man." Palmier whispered and giggled in my ear and pulled away from the hug. "And about Red, I don't need to see him. To me, he's long gone!" Palmier smiled and I smiled back. "Here, let's exchange radio frequencies." Palmier continued as she pulled out a piece of paper and a pen from her robot's cockpit, tore the paper in half, and wrote her radio frequency on one of the halves of the paper. She gave the other half of the paper to me and I wrote my radio frequency. We exchanged the papers and I handed back her pen. "So what time will you pick me up?" Palmier asked.
"How about 5 o'clock?" I asked.
"Sounds good!" Palmier replied. "Well, I'll see you later!" Palmier said, then she leaned toward me and kissed me on the cheek, which I replied with a deep blush and she walked back to her robot while giggling. She got on the robot and blew me a kiss before flying up onto the deck, going back to the cockpit and flying off to another island. I walked into the cockpit of the ship to see the pilot still piloting the ship from under the control panel.
"Is she gone?" the pilot asked.
"She's gone." I reassured the pilot as he crawled out from under the control panel and sighed with relief.
"Phew! Well, what happened out there?" the pilot asked.
"Oh, let's just say I have a date with a lovely lady tonight." I smiled with a confused look on the pilot's face. Eventually, we made it to Pharaoh. With Pharaoh, being the capital of Shepherd, it was always an active city. People were walking to and from different shops and restaurants enjoying the luxuries that Pharaoh had to offer. We landed on the dock of Pharaoh and I hopped off the ship with the package in my paw.
"I'll wait here until you get back." The pilot shouted to me from the deck. I nodded and began trekking through the hustling and bustling streets of Pharaoh. It took me about 30 minutes of walking down different streets until I heard what sounded like girls cheering. I followed the sound down the street until I saw a bunch of girls centered around something. I couldn't tell what it was so I took a closer look and saw who I was looking for: Red Savarin. It seems that Red's fangirls were very happy to see Red.
"One at a time girls. I'll give you all autographs." I heard Red say to the girls, evident that Red was giving autographs. I walked up to the crowd of girls and sifted through them until I was in front of Red and I spoke up.
"Excuse me, Red Savarin?" I spoke up.
"Hold on a second, girls. Can I help ya?" Red replied with a smile.
"My name is Sam Arceneau. I was given a quest by Shira Narake' to deliver this package to you." I handed the package to Red and he looked at it with curiosity.
"What's in it?" Red asked.
"I have no idea. I was strictly told not to open the package." I replied.
"Oh, well thanks anyway!" Red replied with a grin.
"See ya!" I said as I sifted through the girls again with a wave and Red waved back as well and returned to his autographs. As I walked back to the ship to return to Airedale, I just couldn't stop wondering what was in that package.
